Education & Community Involvement

Consumer awareness is vital to the correct understanding of the many benefits Solar Energy has to offer. As the largest locally owned solar company in Woodland CA, we are very involved with many events throughout Yolo County. Our services are available and completely free of charge to any community related group. As owner, I will personally address a variety of organizations such as: Rotary Clubs, Lyons, Kiwanis, Schools, etc. I am very proud to be part of the up & coming Capay Valley Energy Shed. Our company sponsors & participates in the Annual Almond Festival and the Hedrick Ag Energy Fair.

We always provide a “Straight Forward” approach in our educational services. With the rapid growth of solar energy usage in urban areas, a correct understanding of the components functions is increasingly important to public service agencies such as fire departments. With the aid of our fully equipped training trailer, we are able to bring our educational services to you. In 2010 we provided such a service to the Woodland Fire Dept. We conducted a short 2 hour class to each of their three shifts. They were all pleased and gained a much greater sense of confidence in the event of a structure fire where solar modules are present on the roof.

We also provide private services to company groups such as Real Estate Agencies. Solar systems have a very long life span, and a system applied to a home may have multiple owners. It becomes extremely helpful to the real estate agent participating in the purchase and/or sale to understand the specification and benefits of the attached solar energy system.
