The Freedom of "Off-Grid"

Do you know anyone who lives completely off the utility grid? The vast majority of you will say no to this question. Stay tuned, this just might change someday, possibly even with you. There is a growing number of people who are seriously looking into this type of lifestyle. The timing of this movement can be attributed to many reasons. The “baby-boom” generation is getting older, and a more peaceful way of life is very appealing to an increasing number of us. Bare land values are the lowest in decades. Utility costs keep going up. With an increasing number of people working at home through their computer etc.., a daily commute is not necessary. Possibly not worrying about locking your doors. Actually seeing the stars at night. The list goes on and on. It has been a dream of mine to use my personal experience and my companies’ skills to help people who want to have their own piece of land, country home, horse facility (or any other livestock for that matter), and do it all without the confines and costs of grid provided electricity and gas. At the risk of sounding like I’m bragging, I have posted a list of my personal experience. It’s no secret, if you love what you do, you will be very good at it. I truly love the rural setting and all the different aspects of property development, structure(s) construction, all forms of alternative energy systems, and most of all helping people build their dreams.
